A Man who personified piano tuning and service in Atlanta...

Lee Edwards passed from this life to the next, Sunday, April 18, 2004.
He is survived by his wife Myrtle Edwards, daughter Corinne Lee & husband Charles, and sons Kent & wife Regina, and (myself) Nelson & wife Maureen  Edwards.  He also left behind 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  He was also the eldest of 8 and will be sorely missed by his 7 brothers and sisters.

Lee was known throughout the United States by many people, for his many business endeavors, and talents.  His unique ability in Vintage Restoration, the incredible antique collections he owned, his ability to build amazing Band Organs and Nickelodeons, create intricate carvings out of wood, the fact he was an Organ Grinder & talented monkey trainer some years ago, owner of The Mortier which was on display in the old Fulton Co. Stadium,  owner of the Musical Museum in Underground Atlanta, and his professional photography career, only scratch the surface of my father's legacy.

As an Edwards I am so very proud to have had the piano trade passed down to me, making me a second generation Master Piano Technician.  I only hope that I can do the same justice to the piano business as my Father.

On behalf of all the family and friends and business associates who knew and worked with him, he was loved by so very many, and will be truly missed by all.
